| PREMIUM WATER FEATURES (GRC) | ||
WHAT IS GRC? GRC stands for Glass-fibre Reinforced Concrete. It is the generic term for a high-strength composite stone made up of cement mortar (a mixture of cement and sand-size aggregate) reinforced with bundled strands of glass fibres (usually around 25-35mm long). The term "concrete" is technically correct but misleading because the glass fibres in the mortar (5% by weight) greatly increase product strength while dramatically reducing product weight because of the much thinner but stronger wall sections. |
